AVWAP, Volume Profile, and Point of Control
A practical reading of anchored VWAP, 10-day and 50-day POC ranges, and volume profile support or resistance.
Category: Technical
AVWAP
Anchored VWAP tracks the average price paid since a meaningful event or anchor. Price above AVWAP suggests the average post-event holder is winning; price below suggests pressure.
Point of control
POC is the price with the most traded volume over a window. SurgeFlow uses 10-day and 50-day POC to form a recent volume-memory range.
Volume profile
The volume profile shows where historical participants are likely in profit or loss. It helps identify where supply or demand may reappear.
