A member API key can verify a Quest login without being stored as a raw secret, enable opt-in cross-device research sync, and authenticate read-only API requests across four equity markets, with 2000 requests per day and 180 per minute.

Membership questions

Is SurgeFlow membership free?

Yes. Membership, the Quest companion app, and the current member API beta are all free, with no payment card required. Quest is itself in beta: sign-in and optional cross-device sync work today, and the app has not yet completed its pre-release acceptance checks.

What do members receive?

The complete Daily Notes workspace across four markets — the United States, China, Japan and Hong Kong; Quest login with optional cross-device sync, in beta; an optional weekly Notes digest, a separate consent that stays off unless you turn it on; a read-only API covering four equity markets at 2,000 requests per day and 180 per minute; reusable scripts and Telegram support. The AI committee is paused, so its per-seat reasoning and its after-close email are not offered while it is paused. Public market screens, hotlists, factors, and methodology remain open.

Does a key unlock data I cannot otherwise read?

Yes. A member key unlocks the complete Daily Notes workspace. Market screens, hotlists, ownership, factors, and methodology remain readable without an account. The same key also connects your Quest sync (beta) and email preferences.

Is the AI committee running?

No. The AI committee is paused, and has been since 5 September 2026. Its past ratings, meeting records and grade book are not published while it is paused, so no past output reads as current, and its two API endpoints are retired. The AI tab is labelled Beta.

Does membership hide the public research?

The complete Daily Notes workspace is member-only. Public market screens, hotlists, ownership, factors, and methodology remain open.

What happens immediately after signup?

The page issues the member key immediately, runs a live example, and sends the welcome kit by email. The raw key is shown once and is not stored by Quest.

What is a Founding Analyst?

It is recognition for members in the first cohort. It does not provide financial rights, priority access to markets, trade authority, or investment advice.

Is SurgeFlow investment advice?

No. SurgeFlow provides descriptive market data, statistical research, and paper-only tools. It does not connect to brokerage credentials, place trades, or provide personalised investment advice.
